We are a dynamic group of photographers who come together to learn, grow, and share our love of photography. Whether you’re just starting out or are an experienced photographer, our club offers a welcoming environment filled with learning opportunities, creative challenges, and genuine friendships.

What We Do

Competitions that Inspire Growth

We hold monthly photo competitions that challenge and motivate our members to improve their craft.

  • Our Digital Image Competitions are held via Zoom on the third Tuesday of each month, offering a convenient way for members to participate from anywhere.
  • On the first Monday, we host an in-person Print Competition and social gathering in Larkspur — a chance to connect face-to-face and celebrate our shared passion.

Education that Elevates Your Skills

Education is at the heart of our club. We feature engaging, informative photography presentations once or twice a month via Zoom:

  • On the second Monday, we welcome guest speakers from around the world, offering fresh perspectives and techniques in the art of photography.
  • Some months also include a second session, where experienced club members share their own knowledge in a friendly, supportive format.
    All sessions are recorded and archived on our private YouTube channel, which now features over 100 sessions covering a wide range of topics — a valuable resource for members.

Salons & Special Interest Groups for Deeper Exploration

Our photographic salons and special interest groups (SIGs) are among our most popular offerings. These small, focused groups meet regularly to dive deeper into particular genres or techniques.
Current SIGs include:

  • Monochrome Photography
  • Landscape Photography
  • Portrait Photography
  • Wildlife, Macro, and Street Photography
  • iPhonography
  • Intentional Camera Movement (ICM)

We also host four general photography salons each month, where members share images and receive thoughtful feedback in an informal setting. Most of these gatherings are conducted over Zoom, allowing easy access from anywhere.

Field Trips to Spark Creativity

We regularly organize field trips to local and regional destinations that offer rich photographic opportunities.

  • Outings range from quick day trips to multi-night photo adventures at scenic locations.
  • In addition to official events, members often coordinate informal trips and meetups, extending the club’s reach and deepening friendships.

What Our Club Offers
